As we all know that today URJIT PATEL the governor of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has published the 6th Bi-monthly Monetary Policy Statement, 2016-17.
So these are the Highlights of RBI's Sixth bi-monthly monetary policy statement:-
The Reserve Bank of India has kept its key policy rate or the repo rate unchanged at 6.25 percent for the second time in a row.
All other rates -- reverse repo rate, the marginal standing facility rate and the bank rate -- were left unchanged.
Consumer prices cooled to 3.63 percent in November, and slipped further down to 3.41 percent in the following month.
Policy Repo Rate:. 6.25%
Reverse Repo Rate: 5.75%
MSF Rate:. 6.75%
Bank Rate:. 6.75%
CRR : 4. 00%
SLR :. 20.50%
RBI has projected inflation in the range of 4.0 to 4.5% in the first half of the financial year and in the range of 4.5 to 5.0% in the second half.
